Dr. Kyle Henderson

Optometrist

Growing up in southwest Oklahoma in the town of Fort Cobb, Dr. Henderson developed many of his leadership skills and hard work ethic raising black angus cattle with his family. Dr. Henderson was President of the local FFA chapter and Captain of the baseball team there. Although sports and FFA were a big part of his life, he knew early on as a sophomore in high school that optometry was his calling in life.

For the past five years, Dr. Henderson along with his wife Michelle and children Maddox and Jentri have lived in Yukon.

Upon graduating from Fort Cobb and then with his Associates degree from Redlands in El Reno, Dr. Henderson transferred to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Shortly after his Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry, was his admission and graduation from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. During his time here he was elected to Vice President as well as President of the student body. Dr. Henderson then completed his clinical rotations graduating with the Top Clinical Excellence Award.

Leadership and the willingness to help has led him to serve on the Oklahoma Optometric Association of Optometric Physicians board as the District 5 director for the OKC and surrounding areas for three years.

Post graduation in 2015 from NSUOCO, Dr. Henderson joined Precision Vision in Edmond and became proficient in fitting medically necessary scleral lenses. Dr. Henderson quickly became a premier scleral fitter helping 100+ patients from all over the state of Oklahoma and gaining referrals from Arkansas, Texas and Missouri.

In 2017, Dr. Henderson joined Precision Vision Oklahoma in Midwest City where he furthered his clinical experience and skills working with ophthalmologists and retinal surgeons. Over the next three years, he honed his treatment protocols managing and treating ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts and corneal disease.

Today he is the proud owner of his very own practice acquired from Dr. David Brewer in Yukon. Dr. Henderson will continue to strive to improve his knowledge and medical skills to provide the best patient care he can.
